Travel and tourism industry is emerging as a globe turner and within this juncture India is not an exception and the sector of tourism here is really proving to be driving call because it gives equal opportunity to the remote section and urban section to influence the power of natural captivation.

The associated chambers of commerce and Industry of India after realising the latent prospective of growing tourism had call for an organised leadership meet in capital of India where they have highlighted the plan that says Think tourism-Think India.

After understanding the concern of the travel and tourism industry the ministry of tourism have agreed on the page to change the procedures of Visa which in turn would benefit the country in earning foreign revenue.

Secretary of tourism ministry Mr Parvez Dewan said the ministry have already cancelled the plan that called for 60 day gap between consecutive entries within the country and have asked to accept the mode of visa payment via credit and debit card. The travellers from Maldives coming into country for medical reason would not require applying for Visa.

With the growth of liberalisation the ministry of tourism are running with the prospect to implement the system of electronic visa which in turn would result in making the country the top four global tourist sector, said by Dewan.
Though the nation has already taken an initiative by following the order to implement the same but it would take a considerable amount of time to make it valid throughout the state. The software that runs the system is ready now all they require is a train man power to execute the prospect.
At present Chinese ranks first in terms of liberalisation visa but soon the country would have its mark on the same. He said due to our significant positioning around Life of Pi the Puducherry has been receiving the increase numbers of Chinese travellers.

Because of cleanliness and no extreme between rich and poor lot of travellers heads to Kerala, Ladakh and Goa while concluding on the same note he said the next growing destination would be North eastern state of India.

Realising an importance of creating employment ready candidates the tourism sector have affiliated their course with world's top hotel school Ecole Hoteliere Avignon. With the same plan all the IHM and State IHM would work under the guidelines of Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne.

The government in its course have already finalised the plan to approve the Indian Culinary Institute to support the same cause. ICI would act as a repository of every recipe of India and the trainee here would be asked to cook different types of cuisine which is celebrated across India. As per the plan the Molecular gastronomy research and training will also play its hand.

Understanding the importance of domestic tourism Dewan said out of nation population half of the travellers are native which as per the research are expected to be improve more after every year.

At present India ranks 39 in terms of arrival of foreign tourist and 16 when it comes to earning foreign exchange receipts but when it comes to spending of per capita towards tourist then nation ranks in with good numbers, concluded by Dewan.
